what is youth justice link?

Youth Justice Link (formerly known as Youth Leaders in Law British Columbia) is a youth-led nonprofit organization focussed on promoting access to justice for youth in British Columbia. Established in 2021, YJL has reached over 2,500 of British Columbian youth through our community events and resources.

We believe that access to justice can be promoted for youth by lessening the divide between youth communities and an extremely confusing legal system. We do this by promoting accessible legal resources, educating youth about their rights, and allowing for youth to speak to career professionals to learn more about BC's legal system and opportunities within it.

Our work.

At Youth Justice Link, we do work through three pillars to promote access to justice.

Youth Justice Link promotes legal resources in our local community through brochures, online resources (coming soon), and community-based presentations.
